"I want to firstly thank the whole club from the owner to my team mates and the coaching staff for showing faith in me. This is very important for me. This is why I was delighted to extend my contract. I want to repay this faith in the future and those that know me will know that I will give my all for the team to be successful on the pitch. There is still plenty remaining from this season and I hope that we will end the campaign with good results. My family and I have been in Hungary for many years and it is our home. This is my fourth season with Vidi and we are planning long term here. I cannot say what will happen with us in ten or fifteen years time but one thing for sure is that I feel really good in Hungary and at this club" - commented Loic Nego.
"As I have said many times previously, one of our biggest strengths is being able to keep our biggest assets. Loic Nego's performances say everything about him and this is why we offered him a new contract. He has shown so many times that he is capable of high standard football on the international stage. We have got used to these good performances in the domestic league. I am pleased that he has extended his contract with us. We have been in constant negotiations with our key players and I can proudly say that there will be important annoncements in the future" - commented Zoltan Kovacs.
