"I have mixed feelings inside of me. I spoke at the press conference on Wednesday that I want to try and introduce my team and I said that we would battle. We came here to play in a sharp game even if we respect Chelsea. I also said that the home team are currently in the top 10 in the World and I stick to that. We came here to cause a reaction for everyone and we managed it but nothing more. We did not pick up any points today. The players played well in the game and they saw an interesting match inside the stadium. In the end we missed too many chances and you cannot do this away from home at Chelsea. They ended up winning the match. I want to congratulate everyone who played today and especially the supporters and I am proud of them. We expect similar from them on Sunday in our league game."

Maurizio Sarri:

"It was a game that had many goalscoring chances in front of our opponents goal. We missed them and I have a sense of regret inside me. We managed to score the winning goal in the second half and taking all into account, we won the game. The most important was to get the three points. The truth is that our opponents also had two or three chances, but we played the better football. I feel that the supporters saw a good game tonight. I do not want to go into more detail about our opponents, as that is not important but rather that we won the game. That gives us a 100% record in the group. I hope that we will continue to play a game every three-four days and that it will be for a long while still."
