The two managers shared their views after Vidi went through 1-1 on aggregate against Malmö.

Marko Nikolic:
"I have spoken a lot about our dreams over the summer. Perhaps some of you though that this guy has lost his mind. However, the main thing is that the players believed and we have achieved a very big result. I would like to congratulate everyone and we are proud of you. A Hungarian side is once again in a group stage after six years, which is a big thing. I would also like to congratulate Malmö as they helped to make it two good games. My colleague was very correct with us, together with his coaching team. We are talking about a very good side. I was not nervous after the missed penalty and fixing the goal net came at a good time for us. I spoke a couple of words with our captain Roland Juhasz, and it is not by accident that he is our captain as he spoke with the others. We now need to try and suitably find a way to regenerate before the other games continue. I do not want to talk about the group stages yet as we first have a game with AEK Athens and matches in the league. One thing certain is that we will not be favourites against AEK, but we will do all we can to get a good result in the play off. I think that what we have done is not only good for the club and the players, but also the whole of Hungarian football and a good advert. We played 8 games in Europe last year and now we will play a minimum of 14 matches. That is 22 games inside two years so I feel that this is really something."
The manager was also asked about the feeling of playing the home group games at the Groupama Arena.
"Naturally we still want to make signings and we have concrete names. I hope that they will be here soon. Things speed up at the end of August on the transfer market. Do not forget that we are a team in the group stage so we will be able to convince players who had so far not made a decision. What will the Groupama be like? We really wanted to play our games at the Sosto and celebrate there. It would have been good to play our game today also there. However, this was not down to us or the people at the club. We can hardly wait to play there. I could say that those that feel that the team deserve this will be there to back us. I think we really deserve this."

Uwe Rösler:
"I am very proud of my players and their work that they put into the game. Sadly we had three key players missing today for the game. The players surprised me with their enthusiasm. We were in the game throughout and became tired, but we still had 2-3 chances to score a goal. I am proud to be their manager. They gave everything. I always tell my players that we have to be continuously ready. We will get the chance that will fall in front of us and when we do not expect it. It is very hard to go out when you have not lost either of the two games. We had the home game in our hands and gifted them a goal, which made things that much more difficult."
