Although Videoton FC won the 2017-18 league title on the 27th May, the official handing over ceremony took place in Szekesfehervar on Sunday afternoon. The setting was the Hotel Magyar Kiraly, which played host to the event. It kicked off at 15:00pm and the players and coaching staff arrived on the team bus to be greeted by hundreds of supporters. Owner Istvan Garancsi and members of the Hungarian FA took to the stage that had been erected in the square. The players were called up one-by-one, together with members of the coaching and technical teams. Captain Roland Juhasz was handed over the trophy, which he duly lifted to the cheers of the fans. The U14 side also went on stage after they won their league title yesterday. 

There was a film covering the best moments of the season and a special tribute to Ferenc Kovacs, who sadly passed away last week.
