Dunaszerdahely owner Oszkar Vilagi, together with main sponsor MOL Managing Director Zsolt Hernadi and Videoton owner Istvan Garanci headed to the centre circle before Sunday's title winning game.
Sunday evening's game between Videoton FC and Budapest Honved FC saw a celebration ahead of the kick off. It was in honour of a Hungarian side that does not play in the Hungarian league. Dunaszerdahely DAC have finished in the top three in the Slovakian league. Hard work and a fantastic supporter base means that they have qualified for European competition in the summer after 25 years. DAC will feature in the Europa League and that means one more Hungarian side in Europe!
Kick off was taken by their owner Oszkar Vilagi, who has created a new European level football academy and has also built a top side in Dunaszerdahely. Videoton owner Istvan Garancsi and MOL Managing Director Zsolt Hernadi also joined him.
