Videoton FC kicked off the spring season with a 2-1 win over Vasas on Saturday evening. The team picked up 3 points and new signing Boban Nikolov set up with the winning goal. 

"It felt really good to finally play in a league game in the colours of Vidi. I am pleased that my debut was a winning one. It is still early to talk about the league title, but this win is an important step in that direction. Now we need to take each match one by one and then we will see what happens. I provided an assist for Stefan in the match, but the most important is that I am happy because of the three points. The supporters were fantastic despite the fact that we did not lead at half time when the score was 1-1. We went into the dressing room with the fans clapping us off. That gave us great strength and perhaps played a part in the second half. I hope that the win managed to make them happy" - commented Boban Nikolov.
