Roland Juhasz, Marko Scepovic, Loic Nego and Adam Kovacsik have all committed their futures to Videoton FC.

We are pleased to announce that four key players have signed contract extensions with the club,
Roland Juhasz arrived in the winter of 2013 in a loan deal, which became permanent in the summer. He has gone on to make 124 league appearances and has scored 15 goals. Juhasz has helped the club to a league title, three second place finishes and also Hungarian Cup and League final appearances.
Marko Scepovic moved to Hungary from Greek side Olympiakos in 2016. He has played for Vidi in 39 league games and scored 22 times. He was the first player after 6 years to score a hatrick in the NBI in the colours of Vidi.
Adam Kovacsik moved to Szekesfehervar in 2015. He made 7 appearances as back up to Branislav Danilovics. However, he has made the number one spot his own over the last two years. Kovacsik has already made 59 appearances in goal for the red and blues.
Loic Nego also joined in the summer of 2015. He has gone on to become one of the most stable players in the side notching up 76 league games and 11 goals.
"We were pleased that Roland Juhasz felt enough strength and motivation to continue his playing career. We can see his role on the pitch each week, and his performances earned him an extension. He is a real captain off the pitch too. It was pleasing to agree terms so quickly. To have this type of calibre player with such a playing career makes us proud. Roland has never had a problem with motivating himself or putting in good performances. I am sure that he will want to help the club win things next year. Marko Scepovic has a very good goal/minutes ratio in domestic league and cup games. His team mates like him and I also feel that the supporters have accepted him. We are pleased that he has committed his long term to our club. He is a real goal scorer, and hope that he will go on to win top goalscorer over the spring. Loic Nego has shown over a long period that he is one of the best foreign players in the league. He is originally a right back, but virtually all of his managers have used him in midfield, and he has performed well there. He has also helped with important goals. There has been continuous interest in him but he showed his loyalty to Vidi throughout the negotiations. He never considered to use the situation and leave the club in the summer on a free. Adam Kovacsik has continuously improved. He has become on of the best keepers in the NB I, which was confirmed by his debut for the national team. The club values him and his performances on the pitch, and great attitude off it have been awarded. Although his contract was not due to end in the summer, we decided to extend it" - commented director of football, Zoltan Kovacs.
"I said this time last year that perhaps, this would be my final season. However, with the arrival of Marko Nikolic, who I have connected well with, it looks like things have changed and I am pleased. I feel really good inside, and I do not want to give up playing football yet. I still feel that I can be useful to the team next season. It is a special motivation that the new Sostoi stadium will be ready next year and I would like to play there. February will be 5 years since I arrived and signed for Vidi. I have continued my tendency to stay at clubs for a long period. I was also delighted that the management have faith in me, and the news of my contract extension has been met positively by the supporters. I will be 35 in the summer but physically and mentally, I feel very strong" - commented Roland Juhasz.
"Naturally I am pleased to have signed a new contract with Vidi. I feel great here in Hungary and in Szekesfehervar. I hope that the supporters will see many goals from me in the future. I want to win the league title in the spring, and go at least one more round in European competition in the summer. That would mean us reaching the group stages" - said Marko Scepovic.
"I am pleased with the new contract as it is positive feedback from the management of the club towards me. I will try to give my best performance in the future in goal. I enjoy the group here and the club, supporters, team mates, which all mean that I would like to start for Vidi for many years to come" - commented Adam Kovacsik.
"I would like to thank the coaching staff of Vidi and especially Zoltan Kovacs and manager Marko Nikolic. I am delighted to stay as a Vidi player for the future. I would also like to say thank you to the supporters, who have always remained behind the team. I feel great here at Videoton, and it really does feel like a family. This is why it feels great to sign a new contract. My plan over the future is to win league titles with the club and not just knock on the door of European competition, but beyond it. We were so close to making the group stage in the summer, so I hope we can do better in the summer and qualify for one of the group stages" - commented Loic Nego.
