With a week left before the start of the new league season, Vidi were in friendly action against Paksi FC. Videoton fielded a young side that included: Horváth Tamás – Bolla, Mocsi, Fejes, Tamás – Varga József, Szolnoki – Szabó Bence, Barczi, Bódi – Maric.
The game started with the first piece of action arriving after 2 minutes when a move down the right ended with a shot from Barczi. The ball rebounded off a Paks defender and out for a corner. The 5th minute saw Paks take the lead after a right sided cross from Haraszti ended with a volley from Bartha that found the back of the net 0-1. A 12th minute Bodi free kick curled towards the top right corner, but keeper Peter Molnar saved well. Bence Szabo had a chance following a free kick, but he could only find the side netting from a tight angle. Another Haraszti cross after 22 minutes saw the visitors again threaten, but Janos Szabo volleyed at goal and keeper Horvath pulled off a good save to deny him. Bertus took a free kick a minute later that was headed wide of goal by the left back. The referee blew for half time and the visiting side went in with a single goal lead.
Vidi did not make any changes at the break but visiting manager Aurel Csertoi replaced his keeper with Verpecz, and he was called into early action to save a Mirko Maric header. Haraszti did well on 54 minutes before laying the ball back but Mocsi was on hand to block the shot. Vidi levelled after 64 minutes through David Barczi. The midfielder calmly finished off a move with a low shot that Verpecz could not stop to make the score 1-1.
With 74 minutes played, Barczi found Bodi with a pass and the the latter sent a powerful shot over the bar. Paks went back in front after 80 minutes after Hajdu fed Balot with a pass and he hit a left foot shot into the far corner to make it 1-2. Hahn had a big chance for Paks after 85 minutes when he ran alone on goal, but the ball hit the post. There were no further chances and the friendly ended in a 2-1 win for Paks.

The 24 year old left back has moved to Szekesfehervar.

The defender played in the final friendly match at the Austrian training base on Tuesday.
