Four youth international players sign professional deals with Vidi

Four youngsters have made the step up after signing professional contracts with the football club.

The new 2017/18 season has barely started but Vidi have moved quickly to sign four talented youngsters.

Balint Szabo was born in 2001 and has come through the youth system at the club. He is an attacking midfielder and was a key member of the U17 side last season under manager Attila Kuttor. He has also played for the Hungarian U16 side. He was chosen as the Vidi youth player of the year last season. He will become the youngest contracted professional player at the club.

Attila Mocsi arrived at the club after playing for the Győri ETO U17 side. He took part in the U17 championships in Croatia in May, and also travelled out to the training camp with Videoton in Austria. He was a starter in the games against Skenderbeu and Inter Zapresic.

Bendegúz Bolla was born in 1999 and has arrived from MTK. Bolla came through the Szekesfehervar youth side called Fonix Gold FC. He then moved to the Budapest club. He is a regular member of the Hungarian U18 side. In May during the Panda Cup, which he played in together with Vidi youngster Zsombor Bevardi, he was top goalscorer after scoring twice against China and once against Iran.

His preferred position is on the right side, but he is also a modern day right back. Bolla scored a goal in the Slovakian Cup against Belarus in a group match in April. He started the summer pre-season with the senior team at Vidi and came on as a sub in the friendly match with Inter Zapresic.

Bence Szabo is an U19 international player and came through the Vidi youth system after arriving from Puskas Academy in 2012. He played in the second division four times in the colours of Puskas Academy last year. The young midfielder has also featured in the UEFA Youth League. He was a regular member of the Hungarian U19 side that played in the Czech Republic in the spring and also scored in the match against Scotland. Just like with Bendeguz Bolla and Attila Mocsi, he travelled out to the training camp in Austria and played in the friendly games against Ruzomberok and Inter Zapresic.
