The players had a tiring day of travelling on Monday and also had to cope with the time difference. Tuesday started with breakfast at 10am. The players then headed off to the hotel gym for a session under fitness coach Liam Anderson. They were split into two groups and undertook various tasks. 

The treadmill was the first point of call for the warm-up, and then there was a 15 minute session on the bikes. The coaching staff are placing great emphasis on the fitness levels of the players. 

The session ended in the gym just before 13:00pm. A quick shower was followed by lunch. There was a period of rest after lunch. Some of the players took advantage and headed to the physio room for a massage from the Vidi physio. 

The second training session followed in the afternoon. The squad boarded the bus at 16:00pm and there was plenty of ball work under manager Henning Berg in the close to two hour session. 

Dinner was served at 19:00pm and the physio room again proved a popular place to visit for the players. There will be a similar day for the players on Wednesday. Breakfast will be at 9:00am and then Liam Anderson will take the players through a gym session. Lunch will be at 13:00pm and the second training session will start after 16:00pm. Dinner will be followed by free time for the players who have to be in bed by midnight at the latest. It will be a time for a massage, watching films or reading books or even an exciting game of football on the games consoles.
