A 27 man squad headed off to the warmer climate of Dubai in the Arab Emirates. They will remain there until the 19th January as part of the winter pre-season preparations. The journey out went smoothly with the plane taking off from Budapest at 14:40pm. The flight time was a little over 5 hours but the squad touched down safely close to midnight local time. The players will have to adjust not only to the plus 3 hours time difference but also the change in weather. They had left a freezing minus 10 Budapest behind as the Boeing 777 headed south east. 

It was around 23c when the plane touched down in Dubai at around 23:00pm. That means that it is around 30c warmer in the evening then back in Hungary. The size of the Dubai airport was confirmed by the fact that it took 23 minutes for the bus to reach the terminal from the plane.

The squad climbed onto the waiting bus having collected their bags, before a 50 minute trip to the hotel, which is around 45km from Dubai centre. They will be staying at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort.

The first day was mainly centred around travelling out to the Emirates and reaching the hotel. The real work will begin on Tuesday morning and you can follow the latest news on vidi.hu
