Marko Scepovics: It was a very good decision to sign for Vidi

The Serbian striker reflects back on the autumn season that has just ended.

"I feel that I made a very good decision when I joined Videoton. It is a great team and a really professionally run club with European standards. Naturally it is really pleasing for me to have scored 7 goals in 10 league matches and I also helped the side with assists. The truth is that I am not completely satisfied with my performances and I should have scored more goals. I did not really look at the goalscoring table during the season, and the most important thing is to collect the points as we want to win the league. If at the end of the season my name is at the top of the goals chart, that would be really good, but this is only a side matter. The most important is for the team to do well. The NBI is a good league and there is not too much of a difference between the teams. Basically any side is capable of beating the other. There are no certain matches. We are working hard to make sure we can win all of the matches over the spring. However, it really is a balanced league. I will spend the first ten days of the winter break in Dubai. I am now in Serbia and trying to spend plenty of time with my family and friends. We have received a very serious personal fitness program and that means movement each day. I did not spend the summer pre-season with Videoton, which is why the training camp in January will be my first one. I have heard from my team mates that we always face serious sides during this period and we can see where we are. I feel that the Videoton supporters will see an even stronger team after a successful winter pre-season" - commented forward Marko Scepovics to the club website.
