The talented youngster has performed well during the autumn season and that has earned him a new longer deal with Videoton FC.

Krisztian Geresi made his first division debut last November in a game against MTK. He then scored his first goal in Vidi coulours a couple of weeks later in the final ever game against Paks before the Sostoi stadium underwent redevelopment.
Géresi had earlier convinced the management of the club with his performances and attitude that he could become a long term asset of the team. He sat down in February of this year to sign a deal until 2019, which has now been further extended by a year until the summer of 2020.
"I am very pleased that the club counts on me in the long term. When I made my debut for Vidi in the first division, I said back then that my childhood dream had been realised. I can now live this dream for that much longer. I am delighted to have played in many games during the autumn, and I hope that my performances will convince the manager to count on me. It is no secret that I would like to win the league title with Vidi at the end of this season. For me as a Fehervar lad would be a lifelong feeling. Looking in to the long term: I would like to make it to the group stages in European competition with Videoton and then break into the national team as a Vidi player one day" - commented Krisztian Geresi after signing the new deal.

The midfielder hopes that Vidi can close the first half of the season in top place.

The forward knows that his side will need to defend with discipline and concentration on Wednesday.
