Roland Juhasz played his 200th NBI game at the weekend and the experienced captain is hoping to pick up even more matches as the end of his career nears.

- A few years ago when you were playing in Belgium, you had 107 Hungarian first division appearances behind you. Would you have thought then that you would pass the 200 milestone in 2016?
I returned back to play in Hungary at quite a young age so I was hoping that I would reach 200. I also have secret targets of one day making it to 250. As you have already said, I played 107 NBI games before moving abroad. My 150th and 200th first division game came in the colours of Videoton. It was especially pleasing that my 200th game came with a win. Both my 100th and 150th match ended in 0-0 draws. At the moment I still have more first division appearances in the Belgium league than Hungarian. I played in 210 games for Anderlecht. I hope that I will pass that figure by the end of this season. There is one thing that I am not pleased about. The fact that we are talking about so many games means that the end of my playing career is getting nearer. At the same time I am very proud to have achieved what I have done so far. I hope that I can celebrate my 250th NBI game with Vidi.
- Do you remember your first NBI match?
Yes, it was an MTK-DVTK game but what was even more interesting is that it has a connection to Vidi. I had played a youth game three days earlier against Videoton FC and we won 4-2. I scored 2 goals and the then head coach, Henk ten Cate watched the game. He came to me after the final whistle and said that I would be part of the first team squad for the weekend game.
- Which league game from the matches you have played for MTK and Videoton do you most happily remember back to out of the 200?
During my Vidi career, I would choose the 2014 Vidi-ETO game. The team did really well and we ended up winning the league title. It was a real game with plenty of changes and I also scored a goal. Although Győr twice led in the game, we came back in the end to pick up the 3 points.
As an MTK player, it would be the match when we won the league away at Ujpest. We won 1-0 and I scored the goal and we overtook Ferencvaros. I always gladly remember back to that game and especially as I scored the winning goal as a defender. It was special to then celebrate that first title win at the age of 20.
