"We played an important game on Saturday evening against a battling Croatian side. The result was not the most important aspect in the match, but for us to play a game during the international break. I felt that we managed to play well during large parts of the match, but there were some serious battles out there despite it being a friendly. I believe that the friendly game achieved its aims and we got the physical run out that we wanted. There were two new players making their debuts during the second half. I did not feel that they had any problems adjusting the game. We will carry on the hard work next week and we are all looking forward to our league game against Haladas" - commented Danko Lazovic to the club website.
