Atilla Fiola moves to Videoton FC

Another busy day in the transfer window as it came to a close at midnight.

Puskas Academy FC and Videoton FC have agreed on the transfer of Attila Fiola moving to Szekesfehervar

The 16 times capped international defender was born in Szekszard on the 17th February 1990 and started his playing career with Paks. He made his debut for them in the 2008/2009 season, and was a member of their 2011 league cup winning side. Paks also finished second in the league that season. The 26 year old moved to the Puskas Academy in January 2015 and became a key player for them. Fiola has made 173 first division appearances in his career to date, which have brought 2 goals.

The new signing received a call up to the national team by Sandor Egervari in 2013. However, he made his debut for his country under Pal Dardai in a match against Faroe Islands in October 2014. The 182cm defender suffered an ankle injury at the European Championships in Austria, and he is now currently with the national team in Telki.

"Iam very happy to have become a Videoton player. My long term target is to celebrate winning the league title with Videoton. I also want to do well in Europe with them." - commented Fiola after signing the contract.
