"We can say that we have arrived at the final furlong. We are all looking forward to the tournament starting, with just the final bits and pieces still ahead of us. We really were warmly greeted on Tuesday and everything has been professionally organised. All we have to do is concentrate on the task at hand. We have been preparing for more than a month now with the emphasis in the first couple of weeks on the physical side. We are more fresh as the game is approaching and now the tactical elements and set pieces are being practised. We are talking more and more about the game against Austria, with the emphasis turning to Tuesday evening. The coaching team are doing their job to get us fully prepared and that there should be no surprises during the match. Naturally I have been following Vidi from here in France, and I am in regular contact with the boys back home. I know exactly what is going on at the training camp. I am really curious about the new coaching team and the new players, just like they are about things out here. We must not forget that a very important period will begin back home soon as we start in the Europa League. The big championships here will also start within days.
