Vidi played their last competitive game on the 30th April, when they defeated Ujpest 3-0 away from home, which secured second place. That earned Videoton a place in the Europa League as a result. The Q1 first leg game will be played on the 30th June, which is why the players have reported back for pre-season training on Monday morning.

The normal procedure of a full medical beginning pre-season continued. The players reported to the CMed Rehabilitation and Diagnostic centre in Szekesfehervar, which included ear, nose and throat examination. There was also blood test carried out and the players had their teeth checked. 

"Donat Zsoter, Tamas Horvath and Marton Lorentz all returned from their loan spells and will begin pre-season with the first team. The same applies to Patrik Tischler, who is contracted to Puskas Academy, but a decision on his future will be made at a later date. Filip Pajovics' contract runs out on the 30th June, while the loan deals for both Alhassane Soumah and Branislav Danilovics also expire on the same date. They will continue their careers with other clubs and we wish them the very best. Peter Gabor and Patrik Paudits both spent the spring season on loan with second division Siofok. The season is still ongoing so they will remain there. Tamas Koltai, Zsolt Haraszti and Tomas Tujvel did not take part in the medical tests.
