Gergely Rudolf signed for Videoton FC in July 2015. His 8 months with the club saw him make 9 appearances in competitive games, although he did not score any goal. The club management decided on the 16th March that he would no longer be a part of the squad.

Sport Director Zoltan Kovacs added the following: "Gergely Rudolf has left the club due to professional reasons only. He was unfortunately unable to reach the performances expected of someone with his capabilities. He also suffered from too many injuries, which is why we made the decision that it would be best for both sides if he would leave."
