Vidi travel to Budapest to take on Ferencvaros in the first leg cup tie
Zsolt Szabo made his first division debut as a referee on the 7th September 1996. That was in a game between Vac-Pecs. He was voted official of the year in season 2001-2002. He repeated that the following season when he was chosen by the Nemzeti Sport journal. Szabo picked up the golden spectacle award, which is decided by football supporters in the same year.
He was most recently in charge of Vidi's Hungarian cup match with Haladas. That return leg ended in a 1-1 draw in November. Zsolt Szabo will be assisted in Wednesday's game by Peter Berettyan and Georgiou Theodoros. The fourth official will be Zsolt Szpisják.
