Vidi are in Hungarian cup action after a break of two months.

The 2015/2016 autumn season came to an end on the 12th December with a home win over Paks. There then followed a break of three and a half weeks before the squad reported back for pre-season training on the 4th January 2016. The team have trained and played matches in Szekesfehervar, Spain and Austria during the course of pre-season.
Competitive football returns on the 10th February with Videoton in Hungarian cup action. The first leg of the quarter finals of the Hungarian cup will be played before the league season kicks off on Saturday. Videoton have been paired with Ferencvaros in a tie that will be decided over two legs. It promises to be a very good match between the league champions and cup holders. It is no secret that Vidi would like to win the cup for the second time in their history after first winning it back in 2006. They will be up against a Ferencvaros side that currently lead the league table by 18 points, and also strengthened their squad during the winter break.

Vidi recorded a 1-0 first leg away win at the Groupama Arena on Wednesday evening.
