Striker Robert Feczesin talks in length in this interview.

The team have just ended a mixed autumn season. How would you sum up the last half year?
It was a very difficult start for the autumn season, for the team and me as well. It was hard for us to get in to games and it was also tough to get used to the tactics that the then head coach wanted us to use. Thankfully things started to change with the changes that took place, which saw us win our home games. The win over Debrecen was good and it gave a positive push for the team. The injury that I picked up in the Super Cup final was a negative point for me in the last half year. It was not only physically but also mentally tough period. I feel now with the team back on its legs that I have also managed to come out of that rut. The most important is that we were more successful towards the end of autumn and ended up in a top 3 place.
What was the most memorable game for you?
There were several memorable games, but I would pick out the game against Debrecen. Not because of me, but the fact that the team managed to win away from home after a long time. It gave the side confidence that we were capable of winning and playing with stability.
How has your winter break been going?
We decided together with Roland Juhasz, Istvan Kovacs and a couple of others to visit Gyorgy Sandor in Australia. We will spend the Christmas there as well as New Year's Eve. We are good friends with Gyorgy and also watched one of his games out there. They managed a good draw against the league leaders. I will generally spend the festive period relaxing.
Pre-season will start at the beginning of January. What are you expecting from the spring season?
I am expecting the team to continue down the path we have started. To defend with stability and develop our overall game. I thing that we can build upon this. If we do not concede a goal in the majority of games, that would provide a good base, that would allow us to score at least one goal, but hopefully two. I am also hoping to score more goals from my own point of view. I owe some goals from the first half of the season. We have to win the Hungarian cup, and also pick up the wins in the league. We need to end up in second place at least.

Videoton knocked 5 goals past a Debrecen team in Felcsut during the month of August.

July was mainly about the Europa League and victory over Moldovan and Serbian opponents.

The Hungarian national team finished top of their group to go through to the knockout stage. Belgium eventually beat them but Roland Juhasz and the team did very well.

The month of May saw the appointment of Henning Berg as the new manager of Videoton FC.

We continue our series at looking back at the last 12 months and Videoton achieved a runners up position in the OTP league.

The midfielder will spend the winter break in Austria and Bosnia.
