The popular left back has returned to Szekesfehervar.

The latest signing needs little introduction to Videoton supporters. Stopira joined Vidi back in 2012 and went on to play 63 times in the Hungarian first division. He also scored twice in those games.
The 18 times capped Cape Verde defender was born on the 20th May 1988. His previous clubs include Sporting Praia, Santa Clara, Deportivo La Coruna B and Feirense. Stopira has also played in 7 Hungarian cup matches and six in the League Cup in the colours of Vidi. He was a member of the 2015 title winning side and also the 2013 runners up. Stopira's original contract ended in June, and the two sides could not come to an agreement for an extension. However, new Director of Sport Zoltan Kovacs has agreed a new deal with the player.
"I am very pleased that I am back with Vidi, as this club and city has become my second home. I hope that I can quickly break in to the starting eleven and help the club. I had negotiations with other clubs during the summer, but I did not sign for any of them. I am pleased that this is how things have turned out. I have not stopped training in the last two months. I hope that I can quickly pick up the tempo" - commented Stopira.

The 25 year old Serbian has played for his country five times and most recently played in Belgium.

The Bosnian international has strengthened Vidi's squad.
