Haladas lost 2-0 in their opening game of the season against FTC.

Haladas secured their first division status on the final day of last season. They were in a relegation place with three games left to play. Geza Meszoly then saw his new team win two matches to maintain their place in the top league. There was plenty of movement on the player front over the summer in Szombathely. There were several departures including Andrea Mancini, Oliver Nagy, Tommaso Rocchi and most recently Andras Rado. Arrivals included Predrag Bosnjak, András Gosztonyi, Gábor Király, Roland Ugrai and Szasa Popin.
Haladas suffered an opening day defeat to FTC when they lost 2-0 at home. Captain Peter Halmosi suffered an injury in that match so he will be missing on Saturday evening. Young Milan Torok also suffered an injury during the week when he broke his ankle.
Vidi beat Haladas 2-0 at the Rohonci stadium and followed that up with a 7-0 win at the Sostoi.
