The closing match of week 26 in the OTP Bank league ended with Ferencvaros playing out a 2-2 draw at the home of Pecs. That meant that with four matches left to play, Videoton FC won their second league title in the history of the club.

The players and coaching staff started to meet up at the Sostoi stadium at 9pm where the celebrations kicked off within the dressing room. The team then boarded the coach on route to the city square. Awaiting there were the supporters of the club in fine mood. Local city mayor Andras Cser-Palkovics gave a short thanks and then the players went out on to the balcony of the town hall to greet the fans below. A large stage was also erected in front of the building as each player came out one by one.  A large shout greeted each player as they came out of the door and on to the stage. The last two to emerge were head coach Joan Carrillo and club director Győző Burcsa.

The team left the main square at around 23:30 to head back to the stadium. The Sunday evening fiesta will be followed by a training session on Monday as the season continues.
