Kovács Ferenc: „The 0-1 results is a good one for Videoton. Few sides could have overcome this barrier on this night. We stopped a Manchester side that were looking to take a two or three goal lead in to the second leg. It took them one hour to find the back of the net. They could not add to that lead in the remaining half hour. The brave attacking game was missing, which characterized us in previous away games. I am sad that it looks as if two players will miss the return leg, and one more will not be able to play. This is a big disadvantage. We need to lift ourselves to a level where our game matches our enthusiasm, which represented us in all of the cup games during the autumn, and especially at home. We will find the best and shortest route, but there are no miracles. In our present situation, you have to talk in moderation."
