The squad met up for the first time on Thursday morning at the CMed Rehabilitation and Diagnostics centre following the winter break.

The players returned on the morning of the 15th January for their medicals at the CMed Rehabilitation and diagnostics centre. The first player to undergo a blood test at 7.30 was Andras Fejes. The others followed in line. There was a medical test including ears, eyes and teeth.
"We began the year with the usual protocal. The players underwent the usual tests and we will evaluate the results. There will be further tests to carry out on Friday" - commented club doctor Tibor Kovacs.
Friday will include cardiology and orthopedic tests, and the program will also involve a stamina test. The squad will then depart on Saturday morning to Spain.

Vidi recorded a Friday afternoon 1-0 win against a local Spanish side.

The keeper had been on loan at the Puskas Academy over the autumn season.

Suljic spoke about the friendly games with the two Bundesliga II sides during pre-season. He also spoke about returning to face Ujpest in February.

The players are hard at work at their training base near Valencia in Spain. There were two tough training sessions during Thursday.

The squad took off from Vienna with a stopover in Zurich. They eventually booked in to their rooms in the evening.
