- You joined the Vidi coaching staff in the summer. What were your first impressions of the team, as well as in relation to the country?

Things were very new for me. The country, language, culture and team. Joan, Paco and the entire coaching staff all helped me a lot with adjusting to life here. I had known Paco previously. It took me time before I adjusted fully to the new culture and also Hungarian football. However, all of my visions were surpassed, which I have experienced at the club. I am pleased that I can be part of this perfect group. 

- How would you sum up the team's performance over the autumn?

There was a fixed concept that the team has totally met. A small period of time went by, before the entire squad could embrace our ideas., but they should a good attitude towards it. Just like in any other team, we also had our up's and down's, but these did not last too long. I can say about the members of the team that as people, and also as footballers, they all represent a high level. It is especially pleasing for me, that Vidi not only nicely, but also performed with results over the autumn.

- Please talk a little about your family, as your not an everyday pair with your wife. You are Spanish, while your wife is Japanese. Which language do you actually speak together to communicate?

Perhaps it sounds a little bit funny, because that is what it is, but it is totally serious. It depends on our mood at home as to what language we actually speak to each other in. It is often the case that I speak in Spanish, and my wife answers in Japanese. I lived many years in Japan, so I am quite good in that language. There are also times when we speak in English, but that only really happens when we have company.
