Vidi's international defender Roland Juhasz has been voted the player of the year for the third time. He had previously won the award back in 2008, and then again in 2009. It is a major recognition of the player as in the past years, it was quite rare for a player who was playing within the Hungarian league, to be given this award.

"It is a massive honour for me personally to be chosen again as the Hungarian player of the year. I have won this award twice in the past, but this is the first time that I have won it while actually playing in Hungary. This will increase the value of the award even further. I would like to thank my Videoton and national team mates, as they played a big part in this. I think that this award confirms what I said when I came to Videoton. I said back then that I was not coming home to just run down the rest of my career, but battle and fight in just the same way as I had in Belgium." - commented Roland Juhasz, who is spending his break in Belgium currently.
