Videoton FC continue to do really well in the Hungarian first division. The only blip to their excellent start was the home defeat to Debrecen. The impressive start is also as a result of Joan Carrillo, who was named Vidi head coach during the summer. This is mirrored by the votes from the team captains within the first division.

He received the votes of 8 captains. Vidi's Spanish coach took over top place, and only a real surprise would stop him from being named manager of the year.
