The forward who is in explosive form spoke about them trying their best to win the next two away qualifiers, which would help win back the disappointed supporters.

- The national team have been preparing at Telki before they play two European Championship qualifiers, with the first against Romania and the second with Faroe Islands. What is the atmosphere like in the national team?
Although we did not begin the qualification period too well, losing at home to Northern Ireland, there is now a positive feeling within the national team. All of the players want to prove themselves so we are all very motivated. The players would like to make up for the most recent match where the result did not go the way we had wanted it to.
- Pal Dardai is a very young, but at the same time has vast international experience as he takes over the national team. What are your first impressions of him?
I can only say good things about him. He has the respect of all of the players. Although we are talking about a very young coach, who understands really well the language of the players, and also has some serious international experience, which is now paying interest. Despite the fact that he has only been national team manager for a few days, working with him feels as if he has been managing the national team for years. He tries to pass on as much as he can from what he picked up during his career abroad.
- What are the concrete targets for the next two international matches?
We have so far not spoken about the minimal requirement of points, although I feel that the minimum would be 4 points, but I am sure that we will go out on to the pitch so that there is 6 points next to our name after 3 matches. We have carried out really good work over the last few days, with us having two training sessions daily. We have also spent a lot of time studying our opponents. I would say once again that we will do everything to win back the disappointed Hungarian supporters.

Vidi's goalscoring forward was understandably very pleased to comment on Saturday's league match, with only one small thing lacking.

Nikolics ended up as the top goalscorer over the autumn season, while Adam Gyurcso provided the most assists.

Vidi's forward was voted the August player of the month in an article by csakfoci.hu

Nikolics is just one goal behind the current Videoton club director in the goalscoring table.

The Vidi forward who has scored 11 goals in 9 games has been called up by national team boss Pal Dardai. Midfielder Adam Simon is another to be brought in making it a total of 5 Videoton players in the Hungarian squad.

Only Croatian player Kramaric has scored more goals than Nikolics. The Vidi forward is ahead in goals compared to World stars like C. Ronaldo, Diego Costa or Soriano. Former Vidi striker Goran Vujovics is also in the list of players among the goals.
