There are not too many sides around Europe that can boast of a similar record in their domestic league as Vidi are able to do. Looking at the majority of leagues around the continent, it is very rare that a side can produce a similar impressive start to a season. There are at least 20 different countries where at 7 games have already been played in that domestic championship. Russian side Zenit had a similar 100% start to the season as Videoton, until this weekend. However, Zenit could only manage a goaless draw at home on Saturday against Spartak Moscow, so they no longer have that record.

It should also be noted that the championship has only started in some of the top leagues around Europe. Taking a look at the top leagues (Spanish, Italian, German, English and French), there are only two sides in Italy that still enjoy a 100% start, with both Roma and Juventus having 15 points each. However, those stats look set to be changed as Roma face Juventus next weekend in the league.

Since Vidi have been a first division side, only one side has managed a better start to a league season, which came in the 90's with MTK. Vidi have the second best ever start to a league season in 45 years.
