The two sides met for the third time in the first division. Vidi had picked up two wins from the first two encounters, and they won their sixth match from six in the autumn season.

The home side could have taken the lead after the second minute. Gyurcso fed Nikolics with a good ball, which the forward hit a curling first time effort, but Danilovic pulled off a very good save to deny him. Harsanyi pulled back Juhasz inside the box four minutes later. Kassai pointed to the spot and Nikolics saw his low shot saved by Danilovic, who palmed the ball on to the post. We still had to wait for Nikolics to create a new club record. 

The opening goal arrived after 25 minutes. Szolnoki released Oliveira on the right, who curled the ball in to the middle for the unmarked Gyurcso to head home from 4 meters out. This was Gyurcso's first headed goal in first division football! (1-0).

Things got worse for the visitors on 27 minutes. Kelic fouled Kovacs from behind in an ugly challenge, which resulted in his second yellow card and a sending off. Gyurcso headed a ball in to the path of Nikolics on 35 minutes, with the forward showing good vision to lob the keeper, but the ball went over the bar. Stopira crossed a minute later for Vinicius to head powerfully at goal, but he could only watch as Danilovic pulled of a great save. Kovacs released Nikolics after 42 minutes, but defender Mark Tamas slid in with a good tackle inside the box.

The second half started with two long range efforts. Gyurcso tried his luck first, before Sandor also had a good effort, but both ended up wide of their target. Kovacs received a good ball after 64 minutes, and he shot sweetly with the outside of his foot, but defender Szelesi produced a very good goal line clearance.

Gyurcso fed Nikolics with a good ball, with the forward calmly aiming for the near post to score. This gave Niko a place in the record books, as no other Videoton player has managed to score goals in 7 consecutive matches. (2-0).

Gyurcso and Nikolics linked up well once again. Gyurcso crossed from the edge of the box for the incoming Nikolics to convert into the back of the net. (3-0). There were no more efforts in front of either goal in the remaining minutes of the match. Videoton deservedly ended up winning the match 3-0. 

Videoton continued their excellent run of results, with their sixth league win from six games by Joan Carrillo's side. Vidi have scored at least 3 goals in each of their 5 home league games to date, recording a goal difference of 17-2!.
