Tibor Heffler was born in Dunaújváros on the 17th May 1987. He came through the youth ranks at Dunaferr SE from the age of 14, before signing for Paks at 18 years old. He has only played first division football for Paks during his career so far, with the experienced defender spending 9 years at that club. Heffler has also represented his country at various levels, which also include the senior national team. Hungarian national team manager Attila Pinter has just named him in his squad for the upcoming qualification match against Northern Ireland. We can now proudly say that Videoton does not have four players in that squad, but five.

Tibor Heffler has made more than 220 first division appearances, scoring 15 goals. He could even be available for Saturday evening's league match against Puskas FC.

Further news is that the two clubs have agreed that the 22 year old Zsolt Haraszti will make the switch in the opposite direction from Videoton, and will continue his playing career with Paks. We would like to wish him the best of luck.
