Juan Calatayud joined Videoton last summer, signing a 1+1 year deal. The Spanish goalkeeper has already played enough games to activate a clause in his contract, which automatically means that he would be offered a further year. Calatayud has now signed a deal, which will see him remain with the Szekesfehervar club.

Calatayud has played in all of the league matches this season, and produced good performances throughout, helping to ensure that Vidi concede the least amount of goals in the first division.
