- We will be visiting Pecs on Saturday evening, where we will play our first league match of 2014. What are you expecting from the match?

A win! Just like for all of the spring matches! And not just me, but my team mates, the coaching staff and the supporters. Naturally we are clear with the fact that there were problems over the winter for Pecs, but we must not focus on this. We have to play our own game, and make sure we dominate the match, bringing home the three points. We still do not know the traveling party, and we will have a training session on Friday afternoon, and then the manager will name the squad for the match.

- You suffered a small injury during the winter pre-season, which made things a little difficult for you. How do you feel now, and are you back to 100%?

Yes, there was an injury, which forced me to miss training sessions and friendly matches. I am now fully fit and feel that I am in a good condition for the spring season. I really hope that I will get the chance to play in the weekend game. These competitive games have been really missing, as well as goals, assists and the taste of winning.

- What are your expectations for the spring league season?

As I have already said, I expect us to win each game. I want us to lift both the league championship trophy and league cup high above our heads at the end of the season. We have completed very serious work over recent weeks. We are now fully ready!

- Were you counting on receiving a call up to the U21 squad?

I was hoping that this would happen. I was a regular member of the squad, and even though there is now a new head coach, I was secretly looking forward to receiving the invitation for the national squad. I was really pleased when I found out that there would be three of us from Vidi in the squad. I hope that we can begin 2014 with a win for the U21 side.
