Videoton have been using ice cold tubs for several years now as a way of speeding up regeneration.

"For several year now during training camps, following tough training sessions, the players climb into a tub of cold water. The past saw large plastic barrels being used, which was never easy to transport out to the training camp. Videoton purchased a blow up rubber pool just before traveling out to Spain and this is now being used to its maximum. Around 150 litres of water mixed with 45-50kg of ice is being used daily. The main aspect is to achieve a water temperature of around 3-4c. The players climb into the pool, where they stand in the cold water for around 5-7 minutes. This cold water helps to speed up regeneration, as well as help to avoid those small injuries. This has been set up within the hotel area, which is also being jointly used by the team of Romanian club Steaua Bucharest. It appears as though they really like the cold water blow up tub, and they also purchased a similar large size pool, which has resulted in the Steaua players regenerating in cold water" - commented club masseur Tibor Debreceni.

The seventh day of the Spanish training camp saw the players take part in a hard two hour session under the eyes of Joan Carrillo. A free afternoon followed with the players leaving the hotel for the first time since they were there.

The Spanish team plays it football in the Tercera division, which is the fourth level. The game will be played on Sunday afternoon.

The program included two training sessions, with club director Győző Burcsa present for the afternoon session.

The morning training session was followed by a well worked afternoon program, which the players enjoyed.

The head coach revealed why he is counting on the spring season being difficult. He also gives his thoughts on Remi Mareval and fellow new signing Mirko Ivanovski.

We did not need a year for the 1000's instagram photo to be uploaded on the official club website.
