Especially noteworthy is the fact that the performance of Paks so far this season, has come about despite the fact that there were plenty of changes during the summer at their club.
Players such as Peter Pokorni, Gabor Nemeth, Gabor Vayer, Istvan Sipeki, Tamas Sifter and Janos Hahn all departed the southern based side. Last season's manager, Tomiszlav Szivics also left to take over at Diosgyőr.
Among the new arrivals at Paks were keeper Peter Molnar, Jozsef Windecker, Tamas Kecskes, Attila Hullam, Tibor Nyari and current top scorer in the league, Attila Simon. Ferenc Horvath came in as the new head coach in a summer of changes. Paks travelled to Ujpest on the opening weekend of the new season, managing to come home with all three points following their 2-1 win in the capital. Simon scored both goals that day, and he continued to find the net in the next match at home to Puskas FC, which was won 4-1.

Nemanja Nikolics continued his great start to the new season with a further two goals in Sunday's 4-1 home win over Paks.

Videoton FC picked up a good 4-1 home win over Paks on Sunday at the Sostoi stadium.

The two managers spoke to the gathered media following the match.

Videoton FC will be looking to carry on their good start to the season with three points against Paks on Sunday.

Gyorgy Sandor expects Paks to be aggressive and come to the Sostoi to attack.

Paulo Vinicius scored one of the goals in the 5-1 win over Pecs last week.
