Sandor Gyorgy spent the spring season on loan at Saudi club Ittihad, helping them to the domestic cup win during his time there. That loan period expired on the 9th July, with the player returning back to Hungary.

"I have returned back to my old home. I am getting to know the recent new arrivals. I am not thinking just about the players here who arrived after I left, but the coaching staff under José Gomes.  The Vidi family is a family that one does not join by accident. It feels as if i have never been away, with a feeling as if I was never away. I can see that José Gomes is counting on me as a central midfielder, but there is sure to be a big battle for place, just like with all the other areas in the side. I will do all I can to play, but if it turns out  that others will play, I will still do all I can to help the team, with whatever I can.
