The main pitch has undergone improvement work over the summer break.
The extreme weather conditions experienced in Hungary over the spring months had an effect on the Sostoi stadium pitch. There was snow in March; heavy rain during April, with plenty of matches also being played on it. The pitch ended up being damaged, mainly in front of both goal mouths. Those areas were replaced over two weeks ago, which has resulted in the green surface looking in top shape again, ahead of Thursday's big Europa League Q1, first leg match against Mladost Podgorica.
