Videoton have an important away match at Kecskemet next Sunday with second spot up for grabs.
There are just two league matches left of the current league season. The fight at the top to secure European qualification is hotting up. Vidi, MTK, Honved, Debrecen and Ferencvaros all have hopes of playing on the international stage in the summer. There are several scenarios, which could determine who enters the Europa league.
The final of the 2013-2014 Europa league will be played in the Italian city of Turin on the 14th May. There will be a long journey to that final for most teams entering the competition. The draw for the 1st and 2nd qualification rounds takes place next month on the 24th June at the HQ of UEFA in Nyon, Switzerland. The 1st qualification round will be played over two legs on July 4th and 11th respectfully. The 2nd qualification round will be played on July 18th and 25th. Three Hungarian sides will kick off in either the 1st or 2nd qualification stage. One will start in the 2nd, while the other two will start at the 1st. It will be interesting to see which Hungarian side can start in the 2nd qualification stage.
Hungary is 29th in the UEFA rankings list with 9.750 points. With Győr having won the league championship already, securing a champions league place, they are also in the Hungarian cup final, with a cup tie against Debrecen on Wednesday, as Attila Pinter's side hoping to pick up the double. A win for Győr in the final, together with Vidi finishing 2nd in the league would result in a 2nd qualification round start in the Europa league. However, a Debrecen win would see them start at the 2nd round stage, with Vidi kicking off at the first. So an interesting week lies ahead, which will reveal several answers in the process.

Hungary take on Denmark in an international friendly with four Vidi players included in the squad. Videoton will also have a friendly match on Wednesday.

Both managers spoke to the media shortly after the final whistle on Sunday.

Haraszti scored Videoton's goal from a free kick but the point means that Vidi are fourth.

The Vidi head coach gives his thoughts on the away league match at Mezokovesd

Mezokovesd have picked up just four points from their last eight league matches and have lost six of them.
