Videoton will be looking to get all three points in the away league game with Eger
Szabolcs Szilasi was born in Romania in 1974, before going on to take his refereeing badge in 1999. He then made his way through the various county leagues, which helped him gain experience. He moved to Hungary, and began working in the Veszprem county league, before being recommended by delegates to move up the ladder to officiate in games in the second division in 2004. That was quickly followed by first division games, just two years later.
Szilasi most recently took charge of Vidi's league cup match with Paks in February 2011. He has also gone on to be fourth official in the Vidi-Honved match this season. Last season saw him involved in two matches, including the Videoton FC - Kaposvar and Videoton FC - Kecskemet fixtures. This weekend's game will kick off on Saturday at 16:00pm, and Szilasi will be assisted by Gabor Takacs and Jozsef Aradi. The fourth official will be Balazs Berke.
