José Gomes and his squad traveled almost 6 hours to reach their training base in Belek, Turkey
Although recent news of other sides having difficulty to fly out to Turkey, including big storms and journey's of adventure, the Videoton FC squad reached Belek, with no major problems to report. The first team squad left Budapest at 11am, for their two hour flight to Istanbul, where they switched flights for their onward journey to Antalya. The team reached the southern Turkish city at around 16:30pm local time.
The airport is approximately 30 minutes from the training facilities in Belek, which meant that the final leg of the trip was via a team coach. The players checked in to their rooms, before heading off for dinner.
Manager José Gomes will hold his first training session at 9:30am on Monday.
