NATIONAL TEAM
International manager Sandor Egervari recently called up Videoton defender Roland Szolnoki into the senior squad, where he will join fellow Vidi team mate Adam Gyurcso. Hungary have an international friendly game with Belarus on Wednesday, with Szolnoki looking likely to win his first international cap for his country. The game kicks off at 17:00pm and Vidi.hu will carry a report of the match. The friendly match will prove a valuable opportunity for Egervari to take a closer look at his players, with the upcoming qualification matches against Romania and Turkey to look forward to.
HUNGARY U21
Antal Roth's U21 squad will spend the next couple of days training at the Telki centre, close to Budapest. The young international side will play a friendly match against Hungarian first division side Lombard Papa on Wednesday. Roth has included Vidi's Istvan Kovacs and academy youngsters Roland Baracskai and Norbert Farkas in his squad, as he looks to the future with the up coming qualification matches later this year. Kovacs has been a regualar starter for the U21 side, producing the same good form as he has been doing for the Videoton FC first team.
VIDEOTON FC
Videoton are back in Hungarian cup action at the weekend, with the second leg tie at ZTE. Vidi will take a comfortable looking 4-0 lead into the return leg, as they look to make it back to back victories. It will also be a good chance for manager José Gomes to take a closer look at his players in competitive action. The game will kick off at 15:00pm at the ZTE arena. A full match report will appear online shortly after the final whistle.
