Gyorgy Sandor joined Videoton FC in December 2009, going on to play in all 15 league matches for Vidi in the spring season, scoring 3 goals in the process. The following season saw Videoton win the league title, and also make it to the final of the Hungarian cup. He remained a first team regular during that season, missing just one match through injury, while helping the red and blues with 4 goals. Last season was also a successful one for the club captain: He made 28 appearances, finding the back of the opponents net 7 times. That was his best goals return in a season in his career so far. He also picked up a league runners up medal, while lifting the league cup for Vidi, following their final win over Kecskemet. He repeated this when he lifted the super cup over his head in 2012. Sandor made a total of 83 appearances for Vidi, scoring 14 goals in all.

Saudi club Al Ittihad FC have signed Sandor on a 6 month loan deal, which includes the option to buy the player outright at the end of the loan period. Vidi will name their new captain during the training camp in Spain.
