Striker Nemanja Nikolics reflected back over the autumn season, but knows that there is still plenty of hard work ahead: "I would sum up the autumn season very positively. I felt that we managed to bring joy not only to the Videoton supporters, but also Hungarian football, by the fact that we made it into the Europa league group stage. It was a difficult task to get in, and for us to get results, but not only did the players play their part, but also the supporters as well. The best part for me was that we were equal opponents in each of the matches we played. We showed that there is room for us in Europe, and that we could pick up the tempo at the same time. We played so many games, and we were very tired at the end of the season, but we achieved our aims, while playing good matches, and being successful. I am very pleased that we managed to perform, even getting more than what our target was. It feels really good to have a rest now and unwind, but then serious work lies ahead, and we must not sit back and be satisfied with what we have done. For us to develop further - we need to have new targets in front of us, and work hard to realize those aims. I would not want us to be involved in European football only once, but for us to compete regularly, whether that is in the Europa league, or the Champions league. I feel that the players, supporters and Szekesfehervar all deserve for the best foreign teams to come here each year."

"We will have several aims over the spring season. While we are still mathematicaly in with a chance of winning the league title, we must try our best, while there is also the Hungarian and league cup, which we want to win. It will not be an easy task whatsoever, as the first division is very levelled this year. There are also many points between us and the league leaders. We will also have to play the big games away from home in the spring."

"As to what was the most memorable goal over the autumn season? I scored 16 goals overall in all competitions, but each of them bring a smile to my face. I will never forget my first goal in the Europa league, which meant that we ended up beating Gent 1-0. Then I scored two more a few days later, when we played them away. I will always remember the first goal I scored in the group stages against Sporting. I am satisfied with the 16 goals, but it could have been even more. The aim for me is to score even more goals over the spring season, and help the team as much as I can. Now the focus is on resting and spending time with the family. We spent a week away in Barcelona with the family, before returning to Hungary to celebrate. We will travel back to Serbia to celebrate the Serbian Christmas."
