"A big change happened in my life by the fact that I joined Videoton, and looking back over the year, I can say that it was worth it, and that it was a good decision to move to Szekesfehervar. I arrived at a team, where all of the players are fighting for the same aims. I have gone through a tremendous development in terms of tactically and mentally. This is mainly down to Paulo Sousa and the coaching staff. It was very easy to bond in with the others when I arrived. Perhaps I can thank Gyorgy Sandor the most for that."

"We had a very good pre-season in the summer, which paved the way for us to do well. It also helped us to win the two-legged match with Slovan for example. We had belief after that match, that we could go on and achieve some good results in the series, which we managed to do. We had far stronger teams in our group stage on paper, but we were a match for them all. We also succeeded in winning two very big games in the group. It was a massive success for the club and Hungarian football. The most memorable game for me was the home game with Trabzonspor, which meant that we progressed through, but also because of the fantastic atmosphere. The backing that we received from the supporters was a big motivation to us.

There is a saying that it is not possible to play badly infront of such a crowd. We are 12 points behind in the league, but I do not think that it is beyond us and we can make up the difference. This is especially the case if we remember back to last spring and how we performed.
