Hector Sanchez began his playing career with Tenerife, before moving to Spanish side Villareal B side. It was from them that he made the switch to Videoton in the summer of 2011. He ended up spending the following two seasons in Fehervar, making 30 league appearances. He played a total of 52 games in the colours of Vidi picking up two runners up medals, a league cup and super cup winning medal during his stay in Hungary.
