With the autumn season now behind us, the playing squad have gone off on their well earned breaks. Vidi left back Hector Sanchez flew to Spain, to have an operation on his left leg, at a hospital in Valencia. The operation was a success and the player will soon be able to leave hospital. Vidi club doctor, Tibor Kovacs, said that a previous injury had caused the player discomfort, and that it was decided at the beginning of December, by the medical staff, that he would receive treatment. It is a routine operation, which is why he did not have to stay in Hungary. Hector will go home in a few days time and will be able to take part in full training in January.
