Martin Hansson will take charge of the second leg tie with Trabzonspor
Thursday evening's match official took his refereeing badge back in 1986. Martin Hansson is 41, and began his career in the lower leagues of Swedish football. He began to receive bigger roles as he progressed. Hansson was recommended to officiate in first division matches, and has been refereeing European games for the last 5 years. He was a reserve match official at the 2010 World Cup finals, and has taken charge of several Champions League matches. The Swedish official has yet to be involved in a game with a Hungarian side, but has officiated two involving Turkish sides. The Besiktas - CSKA Moscow champions league match in December 2009 was his first. That was followed by the Turkey - Armenia fixture, which was a World cup qualifier match in 2009. He enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time. Hansson will be assisted by Fredrik Nilsson and Henrik Andren, with the fourth official being Bojan Pandžić.
